Friday 24th April
Midday, coffee break
No more Living In Lockdown blogs! I will go on posting sketches, because I love to sketch and there’s a wealth of gorgeous things to record and share with you, but there’s going to be a lot less chat.
Instead I will offer one or two Zoom classes every week, based on the sketches I come up with. Each one will address one different sketching topic. For example, I would love to show you how I approach depicting strong sunlight, as in the sketch of my husband Marcel, above. I will discuss ways to get the MOST out of your watercolour, what tools are best suited to what jobs and how to use them, and how to be fast, especially when your subject is getting antsy!
I’m looking forward to it…see you then!
I love the idea of your zoom classes, please let me know the details. I’m fairly busy making scrubs and masks for the front line staff but would love some down time if the timings work….
Hi Annah, yes I will let you know. I think it’ll be fun, I do it with kids and we have a very nice time!
I have enjoyed each and every one of your lockdown blogs, so relatable! Thank you very much for sharing them.
Hi Sheryl, you are so generous to support me in this way. It’s very much appreciated, and I’m so pleased you found the blog relatable! Not over yet, just in a different form… xxx
Thanks so much for the blogs, Roisin. They have definitely been a bonus during the lockdown. I’m looking forward to your Zoom classes.
Hi Jane, that’s really nice to hear and thank you for saying so. I have a big project in the bag so I’m looking forward to other creative pursuits now.
