Another class on perspective – the hard but fun way.
This is a street running through the village next to mine. The amazing thing is that up until very recently it was the only road connec ting Galway City to Limerick City – which are two of Ireland’s main cities. They’ve built a motorway now, thank heavens, and so the village feel is once more back in play – charming pubs, a village green, a post office where they know your name.
I will talk you through how I managed to make a strong drawing – and where I went wrong, only to fix it. I will share with you how I got that lovely overcast day feeling through the use of muted colours and wet-on-wet technique.
