Hello Sketching Family,
If like me you have admired people who use just a few colours, but have always wondered – “how do they stick to four or five colours?” then class this Saturday 14th October is for you!
The colours I will be using are part of a sepcial commemorative set by Roman Szmal (see my latest YouTube video) and are:
- Aquarius Red
- French Ultramarine
- Autumn Green
- Aquarius Violet
- Isoindolinone Yellow
…but you can substitute these with your own colours. I will give a few ideas to everyone who is registered for class.
We will look at:
- the importance of values (I will never not be emphasising that)
- accurate drawing (see above!)
- using white gel pen effectively
- mixing colours
- reflections in calm water
