The countryside where I live in south County Galway is magical in all seasons, and it’s alive with wildlife of all sorts. I see birds and beasts whenever I go out sketching, which is a lot!
This book is a collection of illustrated recipes, as if they were made by the local animals. I chose them based on whatever was current in my repertoire at the time, so they’re all tried and tested by me. Children from the age of about twelve upwards would be able to follow them, I think, but grown ups will enjoy them too.
Update January 30th 2026: all Reuben stickers are gone now! More on the way so please wait if you want one.
The book:
It is A6 in size, or 105mm X 148mm. It contains 40 pages in total, and 13 recipes. It is meant as an art book that might make cooking less intimidating for beginners!
