Limited edition print (200). Watercolour area 274 x 192 mm. This painting was made in 2003.

This grain store was on the grounds of a beautiful cottage I lived in many years ago. The door on the first floor is to keep vermin out of the harvest. I thought the ivy was beautiful and it was the first time I found the patience to paint it accurately. The ash trees in the background are one of the latest to grow leaves, and they are quite bare in this picture.
Most of these grain stores have been demolished now so it’s exciting to find such a nice one.
